Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q:

Why is my airbed losing air after a couple of hours?

A:

The SPS pump provides the firmness for the bed (battery operated models)

Q:

What is the weight limit? It's not on the package.

A:

Twin: 300 lbs. Full: 400 lbs. Queen: 450 lbs.

Q:

The pump doesn't work.

A:

Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with a '+' and '-' at the bottom and top of the battery compartment. Also, make sure the battery compartment is closed.

Q:

How long will the batteries last?

A:

It depends on the brand, if they are used for inflation and deflations and also if the batteries are new or used.

Q:

Can the beds be used in the pool? Really?

A:

The insta-bed™ cannot be used as a flotation device - the batteries and the motor will be ruined. If you own an electric model not only will the motor be ruined, but it can cause an electric shock if plugged in.

Q:

What is the warranty?

A:

1 year manufacturing defect warranty.

Q:

Do you sell adapters to plug into a car lighter?

A:

Not at this time. Check with a sporting goods store in your area.

Q:

I have a hole in my bed and cannot find the repair patch (and I need it today)!

A:

A waterbed or bike tire patch may be used.

Q:

My bed is losing air. How do I find the hole?

A:

A squirt bottle with a teaspoon of dish soap may be sprayed across the top of the bed or a soapy sponge may be run across an area (not near the motor). A hole would cause it to bubble.

Q:

How do I return this bed if it is defective?

A:

If the bed was purchased in the last 30 - 90 days the store may return it depending on their policy. For the remainder of the 1 year warranty, call 1-800-325-8368 for trouble shooting or a return authorization.
